Although he is currently on a loan spell at Galatasaray, he is still the top earner amongst Nigerian footballers in Europe.
2. SAMUEL CHUKWUEZE (£83,079)
Although Samuel Chukwueze’s move to AC Milan a season ago has not been all roses, he still earns just enough to be second on the list. The Nigerian winger now earns more than two times what he earned previously with Villarreal, where he first showed his talents.
3. ALEX IWOBI (£80,000)
Alex Iwobi is amongst the highest earners in Fulham, pocketing a whooping £80,000 weekly. Since his move from Everton, Iwobi has become a consistent figure in Fulham’s lineup.
4. KELECHI IHEANACHO (£77,735)
Kelechi Iheanacho is fourth on the list following his move to Spanish side, Sevilla where he plays alongside fellow countryman, Chidera Ejuke.
Iheanacho previously played with Wilfred Ndidi at Leicester where he was a crucial member of Enzo Maresca’s Championship winning side. His move to Sevilla has him earning £77,735 per week.
5. WILFRED NDIDI (£75,000)
Wilfred Ndidi is fifth on the list, earning £75,000 weekly at just promoted Leicester. The defensive midfielder is one of the top earners at Leicester, his performance equals the pay as he is one of the best midfielders in the league.
6. JOE ARIBO (£70,000)
Joe Aribo is a central midfielder playing for English side, Southampton where he earns £70,000 a week. Aribo was part of Steven Gerard’s title winning Rangers side.
Since Aribo’s move to Southampton, he has become a mainstay for the Saints.
7. TAIWO AWONIYI (£50,000)
Taiwo Awoniyi is one f the most important players in Nottingham forest. The striker spent a lot of loan spells to clubs like Frankfurt, Mainz and Union Berlin before making a permanent move to Forest in 2022. The six foot tall striker earns £50000 weekly at the Premier league club
8. CALVIN BASSEY (£45,000)
