Mo Salah ties Robbie Fowler Premier League record. Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah moved up the Premier League’s all-time goal-scorers chart with his strike in their 2-2 draw away to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
The Egyptian forward drew the Reds level in the 81st minute with his sixth league goal of the season, to earn Arne Slot’s side a point in North London.
The strike, however, took Salah’s Premier League tally to 163 goals in 272 appearances in the competition, surpassing former Tottenham Hotspur and Sunderland forward Jermaine Defoe (162 goals in 496 apps) and ties Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler in the eighth spot.

Salah, who joined the Reds from Italian club Roma in 2017, has so far established himself as one of the best footballers in world football, winning seven titles with the Merseyside outfit, including the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup.
The Egypt international has scored eight goals and provided seven assists in 13 matches for the Reds in all competitions so far this campaign, who currently occupies the second spot in the Premier League.
The Reds will be in action next on Wednesday, October 30, when they visit the Amex Stadium to take on Brighton and Hove Albion in the Carabao Cup round of 16.
