Cole Palmer opens up on his love for fashion
Cole Palmer opens up on his love for fashion. Cole Palmer has become somewhat of a fashion icon lately, after starring in luxury campaigns and posing for magazine shoots.
The Chelsea player has earned recognition and respect on the pitch for bagging 27 goals during the Blues’ 2023/24 campaign, earning him the label of the ‘coldest’ man in the game. But his passions does extend beyond the 90 minutes on the pitch, with the England international breaking into the world of fashion as well.
He starred alongside Crystal Palace man Eberechi Eze in Burberry’s outerwear campaign earlier this year, and is set to co-host GQ’s Men of the Year event with Manchester United teenage sensation, Kobbie Mainoo on Tuesday.
But before grabbing the microphone to lineup alongside the likes of Jude Law, Nicole Kidman and popular rapper, Central Cee, Palmer took the time to reveal and detail what fashion means to him.
Speaking to The Telegraph, Cole said:
“I do love fashion.
“What you put on, people do look at, and maybe they’ll start wearing it. I do see where it [the flashy footballer stereotype] comes from. Not everyone’s like that.”
Palmer’s latest shoot, for GQ, sees him model both a stylish satin tracksuit alongside a thick suit jacket. However, during his interview for the brand’s Man of the Year, the Chelsea star gave a simple answer when asked what he likes to wear.
“I just wear trackies,” he told GQ.
