Adidas unveil Lionel Messi and Bad Bunny collection
Adidas unveil Lionel Messi and Bad Bunny collection. World Cup winner Lionel Messi has teamed up with popular Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny to create a bespoke adidas collection, featuring some of the brands most iconic looks, the Gazelle and the F50.
The Inter Miami forward Messi, known for his influence on the pitch and now his latest collaboration with adidas offers a way for fans to celebrate his success away from the field. He’s joined forces with global superstar Bad Bunny to bring together the worlds of sport and music like never before.
The Bad Bunny & Messi collection draws inspiration from adidas’ heritage models, featuring colourways from the brand’s rich archives.
The release will feature two of adidas’ most beloved shoes, the F50 cleat that Messi has worn throughout his playing career, and the Gazelle that has evolved from an indoor gym shoe, to a lifestyle must-have.
Bringing a new, unique twist to the staple footwear, the collection pays homage to the success that Messi has seen on the global stage – with painted gold hues inspired by his endless trophy collection.
The shoes will also sport the adidas Trefoil logo – as well as the inscription ‘Bad Bunny Para Messi’ on the tongue.
Adidas’ latest collection shows their dedication to the world of culture, transcending footwear with athletic purpose into some of the cleanest lifestyle items on the market.
“This campaign celebrates our fans,” Messi said.
“Seeing people who follow me and support me does more than just inspire me, it makes me feel very grateful. I always try to give everything I have on the pitch, so it’s great to see that there are people who appreciate that effort and always support me, even in bad times.”
The collection will be available from 26 October.
